Skuid, the leading toolkit to accelerate custom Salesforce app design, development, and adoption, today announced its inclusion in the annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, for the third consecutive year.
Companies such as Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Chobani, Oracle, and Zappos.com. Microsoft, Under Armour, Pandora, Chobani, Facebook, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“Digital transformation is far more important now than it was before the pandemic,” said Ken McElrath, Skuid CEO. “That’s one reason why IDC predicts that more apps will be developed in the next four years than in the last 40 years combined.
With an acute shortage of software engineers and UX designers, companies need scalable tools for faster development of sophisticated applications and exceptional digital experiences.
With our continued growth, Skuid will be able to serve even more companies seeking to rapidly build and adapt ‘humanized’ applications in response to our changing lifestyles and economic realities.”
Growth for Skuid reflects the significant momentum of the no/low-code industry. According to Forrester Research, from 2019–2022, the low-code market will increase from $6.5B to $21.2B as more companies see the benefits for their business.
Skuid has differentiated with design, focusing on the front-end user experience of enterprise applications to improve user adoption and productivity. Its customers have seen significant value in leveraging a design-centered approach to application development, dramatically increasing user adoption, up to 80%.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
In addition to its inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list, Skuid continues to grow its customer base and enhance its product offering, with a major release coming to the market at the end of August. Its growth has been primarily driven by significant client acquisitions and companies seeking viable tools to quickly respond to shifts in business needs and priorities.
Generic applications rarely match the unique workflows, processes and roles of your people, which kills software adoption and speed of innovation. Until now, user experience customization has cost far too much money and time.
Skuid provides a fundamentally new model for creating digital experiences with little to no code required. Thousands of builders have used Skuid to create custom digital experiences for millions of users across dozens of countries, dramatically increasing adoption and innovation, up to 10 times faster. The minimum revenue required for 2016 is $100,000; the minimum for 2019 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
