Corteva Agriscience, originally a division of DowDuPoint, was spun out as its own company in 2019. As a new, standalone entity, they needed to build a compelling candidate experience from scratch – and fast. With Skuid EXP, they were able to do so with impressive speed and success.

Corteva Agriscience is a publicly-traded agriscience company that provides farmers around the world with the most complete portfolio in the industry – everything from seed, crop protection, and digital solutions focused on maximizing productivity to enhance yield and profitability.
Initially, Corteva was an agriculture division of DowDuPoint, but was slated to become its own company in June of 2019. Before that happened, however, they would need to establish their own standalone brand and create a Corteva-specific hiring experience.
With the “go live” date of the Corteva division spinout rapidly approaching, the team started searching for a partner who could help create a candidate experience that would attract and convert talent. Corteva chose Skuid for the project.
Corteva was already using a natvie Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and the team worried they’d have to scrap that and start again (a costly proposition). With Skuid, they were able to work directly on top of the existing system to vastly improve the out-of-the-box candidate experience.
With the enhanced apply flow, Corteva candidates now interact with a seamless, mobile-optimized, and branded application path. Corteva removed the up-front candidate registration so job seekers no longer have to deal with a difficult registration process when they clicked “Apply.” Instead, candidates are prompted to fill in key details only, removing friction from the process.
Using Skuid, Corteva built a world-class employer brand and candidate experience— one that attracts, converts, and retains top talent in a cost-effective and timely manner. The enhanced apply flow has reduced job application abandonment rates by improving the user experience and decreasing the time it takes to complete the process. The new solution sets Corteva apart from other agriculture corporations and clearly communicates what it’s like to work at the organization.
